Your seal

We carve your name into a seal. Then we destroy it.

Anyone can make a thousand copies of an image. We do the opposite: when you order, we cut a seal carrying your name and your artwork's number, press it onto your sheet once by hand, and then destroy it on camera — so that mark can never be made again.

Three steps

Step 1

We cut a seal for you

Once your order is confirmed, a seal is carved carrying your name and your Creation Number. It is made for your order alone — not pulled out of a drawer, and not used for anyone else.

Step 2

We press it on once

We ink your seal by hand and press it onto your artwork. That single mark is the only one this seal will ever make.

Step 3

We destroy it

We destroy the seal on camera. The video is sent to you — proof, rather than a promise.

What you get

The video is the proof

Plenty of sellers claim an artwork is unique. A claim costs nothing. A recording of the tool being destroyed cannot be faked twice — that is why we send it.

Along with the footage you receive a certificate of authenticity carrying your Creation Number and a QR code, and a production record documenting the piece from first pressing to packing.

Truthful answers

What this does — and doesn't — guarantee

Does destroying the seal make my artwork worth more?

It makes it verifiable, which is not the same thing. What it guarantees is that the mark on your sheet cannot be reproduced. Whether the market values that later is not something we can promise.

Are the carving moulds destroyed too?

No — and we say so plainly. The historical motif relief is a working tool that is reused, and it belongs to the tradition rather than to us. Only your personal seal is destroyed, because that is the mark that makes your sheet yours.

Can I choose the words on my seal?

Short inscriptions come from prepared moulds rather than free text, so the carving stays legible and consistent. If you would like a specific phrase, ask us first — we will tell you honestly whether it can be done well.

Can I keep the seal instead?

We do not offer that. Retaining the seal would mean a second impression is possible, which would make the whole claim meaningless.

Is the video cut or edited?

It is filmed in one continuous take at the studio bench, from the pressing through to the destruction. Nothing is cut out in the middle.
