What you receive
You are not buying a print. You are buying one press, made once, on one day, by one person — and the paperwork that proves it.
Hand-pressed on aged Xuan paper with mineral ink. A3 (29.7 × 42 cm) if you frame it yourself, or mounted as a traditional scroll.
Printed on the piece and filed in the archive. Type it into the checker and the record comes up.
Footage of your seal being pressed, then its corner being cut. That is the proof it will never be used again.
Every artwork is given one number when it is finished. It looks like this:
HBA-20261010-0007
| Segment | Meaning |
|---|---|
| HBA | Han Brick Atelier |
| 20261010 | The day the piece was finished — year, month, day |
| 0007 | That day’s running number in the studio, starting at 0001 |
The number belongs to that one sheet. It is never reused, and it is not reissued if the piece is remade — a remake gets a new number of its own.
Before your sheet leaves, a stone seal is carved with the name you give us. It is pressed once onto your artwork. Then one corner is cut off so it can never make another impression.
The seal is not sent to you. It stays destroyed, on camera, and the footage is part of your record.
Anyone can type a creation number into the checker on this site and see the record — the motif, the finish, the date it was made.
What is not published is you. Your name, email and address stay with us; they are used to make and ship the piece and nothing else.
Each sheet is pressed after you order it. Production runs 3–7 business days, then it ships rolled in a heavy tube with tracking. International delivery is 7–15 business days.
