Policies & terms
Each piece is made for one person and sealed with a seal we then destroy, so sales are final. If we got something wrong, we remake it at our cost.
Each piece is 100% hand-pressed on authentic aged Xuan paper using natural mineral ink and vermilion paste. Because the Tà Yin technique is entirely manual, subtle variations in ink density, natural paper textures, feathering (fei bai), and slight edges on hand-carved stone impressions are inherent characteristics of handmade fine art — not defects. These nuances are why no two pieces are identical.
Because every piece is a 1/1 commission sealed with your personalised name seal, followed by the permanent destruction of that seal on video, all sales are final. We do not accept returns and do not issue monetary refunds.
A 100% free remake — new seals, new press, new film, new shipping — is issued only if:
In all such cases the remedy is a remake only — no monetary refunds are offered.
Every artwork is made to order by hand. After payment is confirmed, production takes 3–7 business days. Once production begins, orders cannot be cancelled or changed. Please check your seal name spelling and motif before confirming — mistakes in your submission are not grounds for a remake.
Artworks are rolled in protective paper and shipped in heavy-duty craft tubes, worldwide, 7–15 business days with tracking. International customs duties and taxes, if any, are the buyer’s responsibility. We are not liable for delays caused by customs or the carrier. On delivery, please inspect the package; if the artwork arrives damaged, contact us within 48 hours with photos of the package and artwork so a remake can be issued under the guarantee above.
Your personalised stone seal is carved once for your artwork, impressed once, and then permanently destroyed on camera. No duplicate seal is ever made; the destruction video is the final proof of your piece’s uniqueness. The seal is never shipped and no seal-return service is offered.
Creation numbers and artwork details are recorded in our public studio archive. Collector names and personal data are never published. Your email and address are used solely to make and deliver your order, and are not shared with third parties.
All artworks are original artistic creations inspired by Han Dynasty brick relief imagery. We do not sell or export archaeological artifacts; each work is a contemporary handmade art piece.
